First time today I ordered using Instacart why did I wait so long the service was impeccable with no issues at all they a variety of stores that you can buy things from I ordered food from Key Food and everything with the exception of one items I was able to receive this will be my go to when I want to order things

So rude management as well.They let the fresh food on the sun,in the floor.it stayed there for an hour and half,83 degrees day, when I complaint about it they told me to throw it away, because they would refund me for the inconvenience. But then they decide to chance their mind! Unbelievable...sorry you guy will be break down very soon, horrible service,horrible everything!

Anyone using Instacart for ordering grocery online please be aware that they are seriously gouging you. On my last order, they accidentally left the actual store receipt in my bag. I saw that the store check out was for $164 before taxes. Instacart charged me $190 + tips+ service fee + taxes = $226. I tried calling them. Had to hold for over 2 hours. They refused any refund and said I wasn't supposed to get the paper receipt. Be aware.
Was noticing pricing differences on Aldi and Aldi express. The whole idea of express is to save a little money but you jacked up the prices for express. When I first started using Instacart there was maybe 10 to 15 cent difference than shopping at the store. Now is as much as 80 cents more on most items. Then you cut your shoppers pay. What a greedy company!. If I had another choice for shopping I would drop Instacart in a heartbeat. I am a disabled senior.
Waited 6 hours for my order. Instacart transferred me to some guy in India. Gave me $5 whole dollars. Items finally arrived and HALF were missing. $#*! this company.

Terrible company and shoppers, I have very bad experience not just once but 4 times, today I got a small toilet paper roll delivered when I ordered for a large pk of paper towels for 28.99. How can anyone with brain make such poor choices unless their intent is to cheat, after spending 4 hours with various support people without refund I am better off campaigning to banish this unethical company from America
Instacart is the biggest scam and rip off there is. They charged me $29 for 4 6 pks of coke when they were on sale for $2.79 each. My whole total was $108 (have actual receipt from store) and they charged me $137 with a $50 discount then are refusing to give me back what I was overcharged. This business is absolutely ridiculous.
I have ordered 15 times through instacart the last few by far than the worst poor communication skills rude shoppers total disregard for anything you say when they're asking you something and you reply it's like talking to a brick wall I'm done with instacart. I've had items not delivered I've had items purchased that I've never even added to my cart or received. I am disabled I asked them to leave it on the side porch most do but lately they don't do it even though I give them a tip.
Grocery delivery. Not only were items completely missing but I had items I did not even order. The response I got from them was " oh well they must have been shopping for 2 different people at the same time".
Not with it at all. Never again. Even with the price increase you would expect you are paying a premium to get the correct order. Nope. Stuff was just thrown in a carriage and I doubt they even looked at my list. Just awful. They should be shut down. Also filing complaint with our Attorney General's office.

I am dissatisfied with Insta cart because there are frequently missing items from my order. They credit my account on my next order but I would prefer an immediate refund. There does not seem to be a real person to handle complaints. I don't know where my missing items end up. It is always the most expensive things missing. Although it is convenient I am about done with instacart.
Literally the worst customer experience. I was basically harassed and the driver do not ever care about your order.
Placing an order for my mother the other day, they put a "temporary hold" on $230. Out of her bank account. (This could take up to 7 days to be returned to her bank account)
Then, they charged her the actual amount of $187. As well from her account. How stupid is that? She should have immediately been refunded the complete amount that had been on temporary hold. I am sorry that is just total BS for an elderly women with limited experience income, and other bills to pay. What the hell instacart! That is just total crap! You need to change this policy! It is idiotic!
Second time this happened. First time I ordered I got only half the order. Had to wait a week for that refund. Today they delivered my order to a different apartment. Over $100 in groceries that a total stranger now has. Lucky them! Now I have to wait another week before I can get my money back. My back is injured so Im not able to shop for heavy or numerous items at this time and now I have to wait a week to get my money back before I can put food in my fridge.

A month and a half ago I ordered from kroger thru instacart and they delivered to the wrong address as I updated the correct address they proceeded to deactivate my account claiming fraud and refused to refund me. I went back and forth daily with no results and even emailed the ceo with no response. I absolutely hate this fake company and hope nothing but bad for any employees and management there and suggest anyone not to use they're services because they're thieves! I hate instacart
Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I had a fairly small problem that should have been an easy fix and the customer service was completely incompetent, rude and unhelpful. I ended up closing my account not even because of the initial problem but because of just how terribly I was treated and how horrible their service was. Also note that the will keep all your private personal information forever. Once they have it they will never fully delete you from their system.

Placed my order at 3 pm to have my food delivered by 7. Nobody called, nobody picked my order up and it took three representatives to get my money back. Will never use them again! Then asked for a manager and the representative put me on hold for 5 mins only to come back on as herself like I am an idiot. Stupid people run it, so stupid people are employed there.
Unbelievable experience with customer service. No help, they have no clue where to check and how to help.After 10 hours wait got information about unlocked account (not clear what originally was locked), but when tried to place my order - the same thing? Shane on you, Instacart! Poor business practices!
I have made a complaint with Costco Corporate office and disputed the charges made by "Instacart" with Bank of America. I made several attempts to resolve the issue with "Instacart" and have received no response. Your shopper/delivery associate added items to my order which were not authorize or receive. If I could give 0 stars it would still be too many. Absolute worst customer service and complete lack of security on their platform. My credit card company informed me of suspicious activity linked to my IC account, however when I reached out to IC they claimed they did not have visibility to any questionable activity. After numerous attempts to reach the fraud team I'm still left wondering how my account was compromised and whether or not the platform itself is a secure one to use. Going forward, I will be listening to the advice of so many others and trying another company.

I am NEVER using Instacart again, and I advise everyone else to avoid them. My girlfriend and I just arrived at an Air BNB, and we needed groceries. We waited FOUR freaking hours for our order, which was eighty dollars (even though they charged us one hundred dollars). Eventually, the order never came, and we had to cancel the order. At this time, everything closed, and we went to bed hungry. Thanks, Instacart. You screwed us over. Big time.

Delivery person seemed to have difficulty deciding which order is ours. Then left things that belonged to someone else. Spent several hours trying to rectify the problem. Email went unanswered. 2 hour Hold on telephone before being disconnected, and so on. Their call back got disconnected before I could talk to anyone. Total mess.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Every single time I get my groceries delivered, there is a problem. EVERY SINGLE TIME! My ice cream is melted, the milk is warm, pizza is not frozen anymore. It is utterly ridiculous that a grocery story delivery company can't get it together. One time, they changed my scheduled pick up order a full 24 hours and claimed it was because I was buying alcohol, which was untrue. When I called them out on it, they told me it was my cold cuts instead. Avoid this company.
Not only was this order a debacle, their customer service was less than willing to assist in the matter until I made it clear that what I received was not minimal "service". Then their manager couldn't be bothered to take my call after being placed on an extended hold. I am a single Mom in the care of a very sick daughter so I counted on them and they FAILED miserably. I now get the task of taking my sick child out in the cold rain to retrieve the damaged items your company refused to redeliver.
Service from Instacart Non Disclosure on Service Fees. There is nowhere that if you ask for an item and/or replacement/refund that Shoppers must drive (In my case) to/from Vacaville instead of the Wallmart, 6 minutes away from me incurring an extra mileage fee (HIDDEN) and only visible as a reg. Service Fee and killing any saving I might had had by shopping carefully to save expenses. This seems evasive, as to extra fees, though it is called when I call, "We will get as many products as we can from the closest store available". Vacaville, Ca is 49 min. Away and however many miles from Antelope, Ca. C distance fees that only shows hidden within the receipt only in the form of a HIGHER service fee negating me saving any $$ by shopping close by sales, etc.

Buyer be aware of how final prices are evaluated and lookup how prices can change without you being told in a consistent manner, distance traveled, weight, are vaguely disclosed, not so the choice you have if refund items are not there, There will be fees to go to a further store even if in another CITY. Yes, they will make every effort to get what you asked for. but you will pay extra if is not at the location you are expecting, and there is NO WAY to request only 1 store.
