“I love this service!”

I have ongoing ear infection issues and it's nearly impossible to request time off work to get to the doctor. I'm so happy I found this and they also happen to take my insurance so the copay isn't bad at all. So much better than having to go into an office for help.

“Don't use or pay - unless free”

Have used a few times - free through my insurance plan. Absolutely horrible every time. The scheduling request system errors consistently. I've had one or two okay experiences. Otherwise, I've had horrible and time wasting experiences. They don't really listen. They especially do not know how to prescribe basic antibiotics, or other very basic medications. Working in EMS Rescue, I give myself better care. Do not recommend if you have to pay.

The doctor didn't listen. Less than two minutes and told me I need to see a doctor in person for a sinus infection or a migraine headache. The MD Live doctor didn't ask any questions to even try to find out the problem. Why is my employer using this service as a perk? Really? Why have an online service that can't treat these common ailments? Waste of time and money.

MDlive is a complete scam. The doctors are trying to get fast money without even helping the patient, I hope people think twice before purchasing even one session. I tried a couple of online Doctor apps because I was so sick to even take myself to the dr. I ask the dr. on MDlive to video chat with me so he could see how physically sick I was at the time. He refused to even video chat with me. He refused to prescribe me anything. I made several reports about the situation and every time MDlive stated they did nothing wrong.

Tip for consumers:
I would never used mdlivi again

Spoke with three different doctors and a nurses in two days. They took all of five minutes to talk at me and did not listen to my concerns. The last one, Philip Bronowitz, MD, dismissed my concerns about a treatment, insulted my intelligence, and spoke with an arrogance that was truly astounding. After two days and numerous phone calls, I still don't have a resolution and I have wasted several hours of my weekend. I wish I could give it 0 stars. Steer clear!

My first meeting on MDLive was great. The second one the phone call didnt even go through and I was charged a $50 fee because the call didnt ring through on my end. I tried to asked them if they could fix it or try to push me through to my doctor so I could get a medication refill then suggest I spend another $100 to talk to two other doctors... WASTE OF TIME

MD Live charged me for a tele-visit in December 2022, without my consent. I have been in contact with them requesting a full refund since the charge was withdrawn from my account for going on two months now. It is (as of today) February 2023 and I still have yet to receive my rightful refund. I also have documentation stating the withdrawal of funds from my account without my consent was in fact a mistake on their behalf, but still have yet to receive my refund. When I call, I get the run around and although my request has been "expedited" I still have yet to receive any real action or resolution. Be very weary of this source of care b/c they have no hesitation taking your money but every excuse to return it.

Decisions are made without involving a provider. The clerks practice medicine without a license. They will lie to you that someone will call and they never do.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid it if you want competent medical care.

I have a billing issue that has been going on for over a month. My insurance covers MDLIVE at 100%, but when I logged onto the website it still showed $44. I spoke to both Blue cross and MDLIVE for 2 weeks and many hours, delaying my care in the process. Nobody could fix it or knew what to do.

Finally I was told by MDLIVE (Janette on 10/27) to just go through with it and I should get my refund once my insurance pays. (Also Sierra on 11/4 said the same thing later). I did the visit on 10/27/2022.

The insurance has paid yet I have not gotten my money back. I talked to Macey today who put in a refund request but said it could take up to 45 days. It seems like MDLIVE is doing everything possible to keep my money as long as possible.

It shouldn't take this long, I shouldnt have been charged to begin with.

Meanwhile the price still hasn't been fixed and shows $44 if I go to do another visit.

Please refund me. I have wasted so much time on the phone trying to get this resolved. It should be simple.

SCAM! MDLive is a scam! I waited for 8 hours on 12/30/21 for a call that was supposed to be within 3 hours. Never came. When I called them, they apologized and scheduled a call for 8:30 AM on 12/31/21. Never came. When I called them on 12/31/21 saying I never received the scheduled call, they said all they could do was put me back in the call rotation. Obviously, they were never going to call. They took my money up front, but never provided a service. Beware of this scam!

Needed a Dr. last night (in the middle of the night). Daughter nausea and vomiting. Contacted MD Live to have someone help us. On hold for over 2 hours. Then finally to that an appointment would be scheduled for 7:30am. They never called back. Called back only to be on the phone with a person who's command of the english language was not good. Asked for supervison, then placed on hold for 23 mintues, followed by a message that I would be called back.
When will I be called back?
This service is pointless.
I will now contact Cigna and voice my strong concern about your service.
You can be sure I will not attempt to use your service ever again.

I have a sinus infection I know this because I've had this for years and I have severe breathing problems call sleep apnea. I called mdlive spoke to a so-called real doctor. I have explained to him every condition that I had and all he wants to do list prescribe me a sinus spray. I already used to sinus sprays that a doctor prescribed. I have the exact same situation 4 years. I was forced to go see an urgent care center their pawn I got my antibiotic. This took me almost 3 days to fill relief. So here I am for the second time having exact same problem. Mdlive will not prescribe prescriptions over the phone. That cannot be the truth I am once again have filed a complaint I guess the doctor and I'm getting ready to have to get out of here and physically go drive down to a urgent care center and put myself in danger of covid-19.

I contacted MDLIVE for Dermothologis on call serive for fixed price of $59 without involving Cigna (my health insurance). I agreed on one-time price without going thru my insurance.
I was truly happy with their services, I requested Lattise prescription, and I received my prescription on Feb 28th 2023. However, I received an email on March 6th 23, from Cigna my health care provider, there is additional claim filed by MDLIVE for my consultation/prescription on Feb 28th 2023. I did not authorized this claim. I just want to warn others to know MDLIVE is a scam, I encourage all customers be well aware of their unethical practices of double charging customers. No wonder we have health care crisis.

Tip for consumers:
Customers be well aware of MDLIVE SCAMs. You pay twice, once with one-time payment and 2nd time thru your health care provider.

I have zero trust in doctors now. It's so obvious these people forgot about "do no harm" and are just looking to make exorbitant amounts of money for very little work. Telehealth is supposed to increase access to care?! The first time I used this service the MD overdosed my son on an antibiotic. I filed a complaint but I never heard back because doctors always cover for each other. The second time I used this service the MD misdiagnosed me, didn't prescribe anything and told me to use "Vaseline" FOR AN INFECTED BURN. I ended up getting the CMO to review this case and she said the treatment I received was "inadequate" and gave me a refund. Today I tried a third time, felt it was low risk as I just needed an antibiotic for a very small bite. I guess something so simple hurts their brains too much and the MD hung up on me (no I wasn't being rude) then the doctor sent me a message that I no showed my appt. I complained, someone told me they listened to my recorded call and then they had their medical director call me he told me to go to the ER. For a very superficial scratch are you kidding me? Look I am not high risk I don't have a million of unstable comorbidities I'm not going to pay thousands of dollars and wait 10 hours in the ER for a scratch. The ER in my town would laugh me out of there if I showed up for a tiny scratch. Well, I guess that's one loophole they can always use, the "ER" loophole. Now with it being a Holiday and access to care being so bad in my town I'm probably going to develop a bad infection when I could have gotten ahead of this today but MDLIVE doctors just want to make $200+ an hour to tell people to rub Vaseline on themselves This is the WORST company do not use them for your medical "care" and just so you know I have friends and family that are in healthcare and they have been shocked at the lack of quality MDLIVE offers and told me they are borderline or even outright negligent!

Tip for consumers:
They record your calls, and if you ask for a refund make you jump through several hoops including a “review” by a medical director
